How to reach Val Gardena

By car

The easiest way to reach Santa Cristina is via the Brenner highway (A22). Coming from north, follow the route Innsbruck (A) – Brennero – Chiusa. Coming from south, follow Verona - Bolzano – Chiusa. Take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit and follow the well signposted road to Val Gardena. You will reach Santa Cristina and the House Olympic after approximately 30 minutes drive. In winter, your car should be equipped with winter tires or snow chains in order to avoid problems on snow-covered roads.

By train

South Tyrol can be easily reached by train. All long-distance trains stop in Bolzano or Bressanone. Some trains also stop in Chiusa and Ponte Gardena. The local public bus service brings you from the different train stations to Val Gardena.

By plane

The nearest airports are located in Bolzano, Innsbruck (A), Verona, Bergamo (near Milan), Milan and Munich (D).

By bus

There are different busses travelling to Val Gardena from the railway stations of Bolzano and Bressanone. The bus stations are located right in front of the train stations. In addition, you can easily reach Val Gardena by using the bus transfer services from the airports of Milan, Bergamo Orio al Serio (near Milan), Verona Valerio Catullo, Munich (D) and Innsbruck (A).
